Accessibility Statement.
Clinically Clear is committed to digital accessibility for all visitors, including those with disabilities. We work to meet recognized standards and improve continuously.
Our commitment
Clinically Clear is committed to ensuring our website and (at launch) patient portal are accessible to people with disabilities. Healthcare information should not be locked behind a barrier — visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive — that's avoidable.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities — including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.
What we've done so far
- Semantic HTML structure (proper headings, landmarks, lists, form labels)
- Color contrast designed to meet WCAG AA for body text
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately
- Keyboard-navigable navigation, including a skip-to-main-content link
- Form fields with associated labels and clear validation messages
- Responsive layout that works at 200% zoom and on mobile devices
- iOS-zoom-prevention by sizing inputs at 16px so users aren't forced into auto-zoom
- Touch targets sized for accessible tapping (minimum 44×44px on touch devices)
Known limitations
We're aware accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas we're actively improving:
- Comprehensive third-party accessibility audit (automated + manual + assistive-tech testing)
- Screen reader testing across NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Plain-language review of clinical content for cognitive accessibility
Assistive technology compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of common assistive technologies, including modern screen readers, voice recognition software, and screen magnifiers. We test in the latest two versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
Accommodations & feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or need an accommodation to engage with Clinically Clear (including alternative formats for any document, or an alternative way to schedule and conduct a visit), please contact us:
- By DM: Instagram or Facebook
- By email (at launch): an email contact will be published when the practice opens for bookings
We'll respond within a reasonable time and work to address the issue or arrange the requested accommodation.
Telehealth-specific accessibility
At launch, our telehealth platform will support real-time captioning where available, and we will work to accommodate the use of sign-language interpreters, screen readers during the visit, and additional time as needed for any patient who requests it.
Formal complaints
If you believe Clinically Clear has not adequately responded to an accessibility request, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or with the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
