Affiliate Disclosure.

When there is a financial relationship behind a recommendation, you deserve to know. Here is everything we are affiliated with.

The short version

Clinically Clear has an affiliate relationship with Pure Encapsulations, a practitioner-grade supplement brand. When a patient signs up to the Pure Encapsulations Patient Direct portal under our practice code (239948) and places orders, the practice receives a small practitioner referral commission. Clinical recommendations are made for clinical fit, not commission.

Why we disclose

The Federal Trade Commission requires clear disclosure when a website has a material connection (financial, business, or otherwise) with a brand or product it recommends. Patients deserve to know when there's any incentive that could influence what is recommended — even if, in practice, it does not. This page makes that connection explicit.

Current affiliate relationships

Pure Encapsulations Patient Direct

  • What it is: A practitioner-direct supplement portal where patients of a specific practitioner can order recommended products.
  • How it works: Patients sign up under our practice code (239948), then order what's been recommended in their visit.
  • What we receive: A small referral commission on patient orders placed through the practice code, paid by the brand — there is no markup added to the patient's price.
  • How we manage the conflict: Recommendations are based on clinical fit and the patient's care plan, not on whether something is on the affiliate catalog. We don't push supplements that don't belong in your plan, and there is never an obligation to use the portal even when something is recommended.

What this disclosure does not cover

  • Standard prescriptions filled at outside pharmacies — we have no financial relationship with any pharmacy.
  • Lab work ordered through outside laboratories — same; no financial relationship.
  • Referrals to in-person providers — referrals are based on clinical fit and patient location, not on any payment or arrangement.

Educational social content

If we mention a specific supplement or product on social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook), and we have an affiliate relationship with that product, we will include an explicit disclosure in or near the mention — typically with a hashtag like #ad or #affiliate, or plain language saying "we may earn a commission." Educational content that does not mention a specific product we are affiliated with does not require this disclosure.

Future affiliate relationships

If Clinically Clear adds new affiliate relationships in the future (a lab service, a wellness brand, or another supplement line), we will update this page with the relevant details before promoting any such product.

Your rights as a patient

You always have the right to:

  • Decline any recommended supplement, lab, or service without affecting your care
  • Source any recommended product from any vendor of your choosing
  • Ask whether any specific recommendation is associated with an affiliate relationship
  • Request that recommendations be limited to non-affiliate options

Contact

Questions about our affiliate relationships can be sent through Instagram, Facebook, or (at launch) the contact methods in your patient portal.
